Job Summary:
ECS is seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for managing the compensation function and learning and development program for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and administer compensation programs to align with the company's goals and competitive practices.
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
- Provide advice to corporate staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Design creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
- Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitor salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees.
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals, and consultation with line managers.
- Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses business needs and expectations.
Requirements:
- Six plus years of corporate human resources experience.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
