The Internal Sales Representative will report directly to the Internal Sales Manager and collaborate closely with fellow Internal Sales Representatives, as well as teams in Marketing, Regional & Territory Sales, Manufacturing Representatives, Engineering, Quality, and Planning.

The primary objective for each Internal Sales Representative is to cultivate and reinforce both internal and external customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing Customer Needs including Quoting, Purchase Orders, Expediting, and any additional requests from Customers.
  • Entering Data related to Opportunities, Quotes, and Sales Orders.
  • Reviewing Contracts/Purchase Orders to ensure alignment between Customer Purchase Orders and Internal Sales Orders, with a particular focus on Customer Drawing Revision Levels and Quality Clauses.
  • Responding promptly to team members, both internal and external, while proactively addressing customer requirements.
  • Building strong and productive relationships with all Delta team members and customer contacts.
  • Communicating professionally and respectfully with all internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

This role is ideal for candidates eager to learn about business-to-business customer service operations and who possess the motivation and determination to make a significant impact.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an Internal Sales Manufacturing Environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive. Familiarity with custom databases using Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
