Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medication orders in accordance with physician directives and established guidelines.
  • Accurately compound a variety of pharmaceuticals, including both sterile and non-sterile formulations.
  • Dispense controlled medications while ensuring compliance with record-keeping regulations.
  • Contribute to specialized areas such as the operating room, IV room, or other pharmacy departments.
  • Deliver pharmaceutical care services across various environments, including anticoagulation clinics and transitional care settings.
  • Ensure the provision of safe and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
  • Offer drug information to pharmacy personnel and analyze patient medical histories.
  • Participate in quality enhancement initiatives and medication review processes.
  • Handle hazardous materials with care to mitigate risks.
  • Meet the qualifications of a Pharmacy Technician I and possess 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license in the state of practice.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
  • This position is classified as Full-Time.
