Key Responsibilities

As an Airfield Civil Engineer, your contributions will include:
  • Designing and planning for a variety of civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading and drainage, paving, and utilities.
  • Conducting quantity take-offs and calculations.
  • Preparing specifications and contract documentation.
  • Managing permitting processes.
  • Executing complex tasks that require sound judgment in the evaluation and modification of engineering techniques.
  • Acting as a recognized technical authority in specialized areas to address complex issues.
  • Planning and developing projects that significantly influence major company initiatives.
  • Collaborating with Design Center Leads and Aviation teams across various regions to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field in Aviation Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing civil/site design projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture.
