RER Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Technical Advisor to contribute to the mission of The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED). This position focuses on advancing clean energy demonstration initiatives in collaboration with the private sector, aiming to enhance deployment, market acceptance, and the equitable transition to a decarbonized energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Assist OCED leadership in promoting the Office's objectives and initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights to government teams regarding energy and infrastructure technologies within the transportation sector.
- Facilitate the creation and upkeep of comprehensive multi-year OCED program strategies in conjunction with various DOE offices, agencies, and stakeholders from both public and private sectors.
- Support strategic planning efforts to ensure the successful realization of OCED's long-term programs, including attracting private sector interest in OCED initiatives.
- Evaluate current and prospective OCED programs to identify significant gaps and opportunities for growth or enhancement.
- Assist government teams in synthesizing information from diverse stakeholders, aiding in decision-making processes, and ensuring the implementation of directives across Federal offices, National Laboratories, and industry partnerships.
- U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a client-issued Public Trust.
- Proven technical knowledge in clean energy technologies and transportation infrastructure.
- Experience in developing strategic scenarios and evaluating opportunities.
- Strong organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in conducting risk versus reward assessments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of business writing fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
A Master of Science (MS) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree is required.
