Position Overview:

As an Applications Engineer at Extron, you will deliver tier two support for our extensive range of products and technologies to a well-established network of professional audiovisual integrators and engineers. You will engage with clients through phone and email to provide assistance with our offerings and ensure total customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales team as a technical consultant regarding product applications, recommendations, and system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Extron's products and technologies.
  • Identify effective solutions for technical support inquiries, product selection, and system design for audiovisual applications.
  • Assist clients by delivering technical information and support for Extron's products and technologies.

Ideal Candidates will possess:

  • BSEE / BSCE Degree; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Understanding of IT and Networking systems and protocols.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, or JavaScript is advantageous.
  • Experience in providing support for computer environments or software is beneficial.
  • Ability to deliver clear and understandable presentations to both small and large audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced professional office setting.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $72,000. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
