This position focuses on the creation and execution of firmware for motor control systems utilized in sophisticated space applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and validate motor control algorithms in firmware for various motor types, including Brushless DC (BLDC) and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM).
  • Create real-time embedded firmware for motor control systems using C/C++.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure effective integration of firmware with motor control hardware.
  • Perform comprehensive testing and validation of firmware to guarantee reliability and performance in space conditions.
  • Enhance firmware for efficiency, performance, and durability.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in motor control technologies and leverage them to enhance existing systems.
  • Document firmware design, implementation, and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in motor control firmware development.
  • Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of motor control algorithms and real-time control systems.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
