Position Summary: This role is set in a vibrant and fast-paced workplace where the Control Panel Assembler is tasked with the assembly and wiring of Industrial Control Panels, Electro/Mechanical sub-assemblies, and significant assemblies that meet both internal and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and modify electrical machinery, equipment, and circuitry in industrial or commercial settings.
  • Diagnose the causes of electrical or machinery malfunctions.
  • Work collaboratively with electrical engineers to address developmental challenges.
  • Ensure compliance of all electrical components with established standards.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with assembling and constructing control panels to UL 508 standards.
  • Layout panels, drill, mount components, and wire according to blueprints. Follow electrical schematics effectively.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Assist in the development and construction of prototype industrial control panels and assemblies, providing technical expertise in identifying, correcting, and repairing non-conforming materials.
  • Select and utilize assembly and wiring tools, including manuals and pneumatic or electric hand tools.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines.
