About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for childbirth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and respond to any changes or concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
