RN Labor and Delivery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through the childbirth process.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing vaginal deliveries, and providing postpartum care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and take appropriate action in response to any changes or complications.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
