Position Overview

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is on the lookout for an Industrial Security Associate to become a vital part of our team. The selected individual will play a key role in maintaining Internal Security Controls by conducting compliance assessments and self-evaluations to ensure adherence to both governmental and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Internal Security Controls by executing compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to verify alignment with governmental and corporate regulations.
  • Identify security gaps and propose corrective measures.
  • Assist in Administrative Inquiries by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and conducting interviews to assess the extent of non-compliance.
  • Contribute to Communication Security (COMSEC) tasks, including inventory management, distribution, and disposal.
  • Help safeguard government, proprietary, third-party, and corporate information from unauthorized access.
  • Develop and implement an Operational Security program, along with security education and physical safeguards to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Facilitate Personnel Security processes to assist in acquiring individual security clearances.
  • Participate in the creation and delivery of security awareness training programs to inform and motivate personnel in protecting assets and information.
  • Assist in Physical Security duties within Boeing facilities, including conducting facility surveys and reviewing facility designs for classified areas.
  • Support subcontractor management to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.

Work Environment:

This role is expected to be performed entirely onsite. The chosen candidate will be required to work at the designated location.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position mandates an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance, with U.S. Citizenship as a prerequisite. A previously active U.S. Security Clearance within the last 24 months is considered valid.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial security.
  • Familiarity with Special Access Programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over one year of experience in domains such as NISP, SAP, or SCI.
  • Experience with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM).
  • Knowledge of DoDM Manuals.

Education and Experience:

Typically, candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree along with three or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates should reside in the immediate vicinity or be prepared to relocate at their own expense.

Travel Requirements:

This role may involve travel up to 10% of the time.
