Childcare Operations Director

About the Role:

As a dedicated professional, you will oversee the daily operations of our childcare program, ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children. Your strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and passion for supporting children's development make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage student records, including medical and immunization documentation, to ensure compliance with state licensing requirements.
  • Schedule staff for lunch breaks and daily duties, ensuring smooth program operations.
  • Track illness and accident reports, notifying families and the Executive Director as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers to maintain child/teacher ratios in accordance with state guidelines.
  • Manage training transcripts for staff professional development and monitor certification expirations.
  • Assist teachers with compliance related to professional development and background checks.
  • Oversee lead teacher evaluations, ensuring timely completion and submission.
  • Assume program responsibilities in the Executive Director's absence.
  • Support weekly opening and closing responsibilities with a flexible schedule.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
  • Generally, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends for special events or meetings.
Requirements:

  • Familiarity with state regulations governing childcare operations.
  • Understanding of Catholic Medical Center's policies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when interacting with staff, parents, and visitors.
  • Qualifications as outlined by the State of NH, including relevant education and experience in childcare.
