Vice President of Operations

The Granite YMCA is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Membership and Health & Wellness operations as the Vice President of Operations. This key role will focus on developing and implementing strategies for growth, best practices, and operational excellence across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, preferably with experience in a non-profit setting. They will oversee several branches, their operations, and supervise key branch leadership. The successful candidate will also be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training assigned branch leadership and direct reports.
The Vice President of Operations will serve as a participant on the Senior Management Team and collaborate with the Community Advisory Boards. They will also support the annual budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring financial outcomes and expense management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Association strategies, growth, best practices, and general operations of Membership and Health & Wellness for the Granite YMCA
- Oversee assigned branch leadership, branch operations, and programs; execute advanced supervision, and ensure effectiveness and efficiencies in assigned program areas
- Recruit, onboard, and train assigned branch leadership and direct reports
- Supervise, evaluate, and develop direct reports, including professional development plans, with the goal to meet or exceed organizational performance measures
- Supervise key Association leadership as related to Membership and Health & Wellness
- Serve as a participant on the Senior Management Team for The Granite YMCA
- Collaborate with and support the respective Community Advisory Boards
- Support the annual budget preparation and monitoring that guides achievement of financial outcomes and expense management
- Represent and promote the YMCA in the local community and develop positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities; supports branch leadership efforts in developing strong community influence
- Foster a climate of innovation to develop programs that support the Y mission, goals, and strategies
