Key Responsibilities- Business Operations: Coordinate and manage business office functions, including employee safety, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer service.
- Census and Insurance Verification: Complete census and insurance verification for new patients, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including receipt records, deposits, and cash receipts batch listings.
- Financial File Management: Set up and maintain financial files for residents, including billing, admission papers, state, and Medicare reimbursement documents.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of issues.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care environment, including managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the Nursing Home Medicaid process in Ohio and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
