Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing and patient care. You will work independently, identifying and implementing nursing interventions for a given patient population. You will also serve as a resource person and preceptor, providing guidance and support to colleagues.

This position is represented by SEIU, Local 121RN, and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Six months of current medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting or specialty area.
  • A current California Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CPR certification.

Preferred qualifications include other certifications specified by area of practice.

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others across all departments.
