Responsibilities

In alignment with our core values, the Clinical Nurse III (CNIII) in the Operating Room is a Registered Nurse with advanced expertise in surgical nursing. This role involves guiding and mentoring other operating room personnel to ensure efficient unit operations. The CNIII serves as a resource and preceptor for Clinical Nurse I and II, as well as other team members. Additionally, the CNIII provides specialized consultation to various units and hospital staff regarding intricate surgical patient care challenges.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Active Registered Nurse license in California. Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant operating room experience. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education in the operating room setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred. Specialty certification is also preferred. Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
