Overview

At St. John's Hospital Camarillo, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of surgical nursing. As a Clinical Nurse III in our Operating Room, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our unit and providing expert care to our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse III, you will be responsible for directing and coaching other OR staff in daily operations, facilitating the efficient flow of patient care, and providing advanced consultation to other units and hospital staff. You will also serve as a mentor, preceptor, and resource for Clinical Nurse I and II staff, as well as other staff members.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current California Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CPR, ACLS & PALS certifications.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years current OR experience required.
  • Evidence of ongoing education in OR required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred. OR specialty certification preferred.
  • Spanish speaking experience preferred.
