Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Nurse Specialist to join our team at CommonSpirit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading the daily operations of our emergency nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced consultation to other units and hospital staff regarding complex emergency patient care problems.
  • Act as a mentor, preceptor, and resource for Clinical Nurse I and II staff members.
  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the nursing unit and ensure that all patients receive high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of current emergency nursing experience.
  • Completion of DEMS competencies within six months of employment.
  • Current California Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • ACLS PALS certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish speaking experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • CEN specialty certification preferred.
  • TNCC preferred.
