Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute cleaning tasks in all guest rooms and public areas, adhering to established checklists.
  2. Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and procedures.
  3. Promptly respond to guest requests for additional items such as cribs, cots, and extra linens.
  4. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies effectively.
  5. Work efficiently to prepare rooms for incoming guests.
  6. Communicate room readiness to the Front Desk in a timely manner.
  7. Report maintenance issues as they arise.
  8. Follow all departmental policies and safety protocols.
  9. Assist other departments as necessary to enhance guest service.
  10. Sanitize cleaning equipment at the end of each shift.
  11. Maintain a courteous and professional attitude in all interactions.
  12. Support laundry operations as required.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with housekeeping standards and procedures.
  • Understanding of effective cleaning and sanitation methods.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Physical stamina to walk throughout the property.
  • Ability to twist, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
