Our Mental Health Recovery Support Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.

Schedule: This PRN Day Shift position requires working 3 shifts per month, with one shift falling on a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), from 7AM-7:30PM.

About the Role:

  • Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks, providing support to residents during mealtimes and snacks.
  • Support residents during structured outings and recreation activities.
  • Monitor and support bathroom use per client treatment plan.
  • Monitor and document exercise activities.
  • Be available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Mental health experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to drive required.
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred.
