Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of professionals. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide holistic and individualized care to clients with eating disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient or residential setting. You will work closely with medical and psychiatric providers, family members, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring timely completion of necessary documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to create and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize client goals and progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client status, develop new strategies, and share knowledge and expertise
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education programs and workshops for clients, families, and staff on topics related to eating disorders and mental health

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Licensed as an RN in North Carolina or a compact license
  • Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
  • Experience working in a mental health setting preferred, but not required
