Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain contact with youth and their service providers to address medical, social, educational, and other related service needs.
  • Perform discharge and release functions to ensure each youth has a safe, appropriate, and prompt release plan.
  • Follow up with legal service providers regarding documentation and correspondence needed for the legal relief process.
  • Document client contacts and case-related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Team and other program staff to ensure ORR, OCFS, and Education mandates are met.
  • Participate in program-related meetings and conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field.
  • Knowledge of child welfare and immigration-related legislation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of Connections.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
