Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers and technicians to identify and recommend necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide detailed estimates and explanations to customers, ensuring they understand the work to be performed.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the service workflow to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.
  • Meet or exceed dealership standards for repair and order production, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, technicians, and other dealership staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and processes, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or service industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automotive industry certifications or training.
  • Experience with dealership management systems and other software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
