Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Adelbrook Inc is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to our Speech Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality services to our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Speech Language Pathologists with speech-language and hearing screenings, as well as informal documentation.
- Follow documented treatment plans or protocols developed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
- Document patient/client performance and report this information to the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
- Assist with clerical duties, such as preparing materials and scheduling activities, as directed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
- Perform checks and maintenance of equipment.
- Support the supervising Speech Language Pathologist in research projects, in-service training, and public relations programs.
- Assist with departmental operations, including scheduling, record keeping, and safety/maintenance of supplies and equipment.
- Collect data for monitoring quality improvement.
- Associates degree in speech pathology.
- Completion of speech-language pathology assistant certificate.
- Two years' experience preferred.
- Strong behavior management skills and experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual & Behavioral Disorders must be demonstrated.
- Candidates must have a positive attitude, good communication skills, demonstrated good judgment, and ability to establish effective rapport with students, families, and all colleagues.
