Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruiter to join our team at Connective Talent. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent across various departments, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the HR Management to create detailed and consistent job descriptions and post openings on appropriate platforms to reach potential candidates.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our positions and duties.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Complete initial applicant screening to obtain applicant information and history, to include phone interviews and face-to-face interviews
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback.
  • Track and maintain recruiting metrics
  • Ensure that applicant tracking is maintained, complete, and meets compliance standards
  • Ensure appropriate internal communications throughout the selection, offer, and hire processes (hiring managers, IT, Human Resources, Safety)
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Attend and assist facilitate career fairs in West Texas on an as-needed basis
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Bachelors degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of prior staffing and/or oil & gas recruitment experience required.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and HR databases, Ceridian Dayforce preferred
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Strong ability to adapt recruitment strategies to meet evolving business needs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, exercise sound judgment, and appropriately manage conflict
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, and at times stressful, environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Working Conditions
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities
  • Regular driving may be needed to travel to plants and worksites, as well as hiring fairs and development training events as needed
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours when required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above
  • Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 15 pounds in a safe manner on an occasional basis
