The Student Recruiter will be responsible for executing recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals at International Leadership of Texas Charter Schools. This role will involve promoting the school to potential families, executing recruiting events, and representing the school off-campus.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to target families with school-aged children in the surrounding areas of our schools.
- Attend community events, informational fairs, and off-site presentations to promote the school and engage with potential families.
- Participate in neighborhood walks and door-to-door presentations to raise awareness about the school.
- Assist parents in completing applications and effectively recruit new families.
- Monitor and maintain a solid wait list after the lottery and ensure all new families are effectively onboarded.
- Collaborate with campuses on recruiting events and coordinate Info Sessions and Open Houses to on-board new families.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote the school and engage with potential families.
- Bachelor's Degree in education, marketing, communication, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media, as well as sales experience.
- Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and self-management skills.
- Ability to connect with parents and families around issues of education for their children.
- Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred but not required.
This role may require prolonged or irregular hours and working with frequent interruptions. The ability to maintain emotional control under stress is essential.
