Project Kuiper is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at deploying a network of Low Earth Orbit satellites to deliver high-speed, low-latency broadband connectivity to underserved communities globally.

We are in search of skilled Integration Technicians to spearhead the integration and testing processes for the Kuiper satellite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the integration and testing of the Kuiper satellite and its intricate subassemblies within a cleanroom and ESD-controlled setting.

• Manage rigging and critical lifts of large, sensitive equipment.

• Utilize precision calibrated instruments such as torque wrenches, multimeters, optical inspection tools, micrometers, and calipers.

• Interpret engineering schematics and technical documentation effectively.

• Execute tasks in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and testing protocols.

• Conduct functional and environmental assessments on units.

• Employ software applications for test control.

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and document processes, including opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Undertake additional related tasks as necessary to maintain an efficient, safe, and effective work environment.

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


Candidates must be at least 18 years old and capable of understanding and adhering to all job requirements and safety protocols.


The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $26.00/hour, with eligibility for incremental raises based on tenure.

A Day in the Life:


The Integration Technician I will collaborate closely with seasoned Integration Technicians on both first-article hardware development and production hardware integration tasks.

In this role, you will acquire new skills across various domains, including mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, electrical checkouts, and environmental testing.

You will demonstrate personal initiative and maintain a positive attitude in new situations and unfamiliar work environments.

You will proactively identify issues and propose solutions, producing high-quality work efficiently.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in aerospace technology, Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license, or a related field of study.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to take initiative to meet both personal and team objectives.

• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, medical device, aviation, military, or other high-reliability sectors.

• Familiarity with forklifts, cranes, and heavy machinery.

• Proficient with mechanical hand tools and precision measuring devices.

• Experience working collaboratively in a team setting.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing roles and responsibilities in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.

Estimated Shift Times:
1st shift (8 am – 4:30 pm). Shifts may vary based on program needs.

• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive assembly tasks.


• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching as needed for the role.

• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted.

• Willingness to travel up to 5% for training and to different sites.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $54,080/year in our lowest geographic market to $60,320/year in our highest geographic market.

Compensation is influenced by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
