At HealthPlanOne, our mission is to provide exceptional health insurance solutions to individuals and families. As an Absence Manager, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve this mission by ensuring compliance with company policies and federal and state leave regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement leave strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee outsourced Leave Administrators and ensure compliance with company policies and federal and state leave regulations.
  • Provide instruction, guidance, and excellent customer service to employees, managers, and operations.
  • Interpret and administer leave policies within the framework of applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
  • ~7 years of experience in leave administration, with a strong emphasis on vendor management, customer service, continuous improvement, and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong analytical skills to continuously find new ways to increase data collection and processing efficiency.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects by set deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to respect and maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information, documents, records, discussions, and other information in connection with employee matters.
