Gastro Health Front Desk Representative

Gastro Health is seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
- Utilize our practice management system to create and manage provider records, scan medical records and documents, and maintain accurate insurance information.
- Verify registration forms are complete and obtain necessary information from patients, including referring physician and primary physician details.
- Ensure patients have current referrals on file and obtain new referrals as needed.
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to office visits and procedures, and collect applicable co-payments and deductibles from patients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and reception area, including stocking business cards and other materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in a medical practice or similar setting preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus.
- eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience desired.
- Ability to travel to different centers as needed.
