About the Role

Gastro Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our gastroenterology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
  • Investigate and intervene in problem situations, reporting relevant information to the Nurse Manager and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and disinfecting endoscopy equipment, operating and troubleshooting patient monitoring equipment, and anticipating inventory needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain flexibility to perform additional duties as required.
  • Function within the legal limits of technical practice, recognizing limitations and reporting situations beyond ability or function to the proper person.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1+ years of previous GI experience preferred.
  • Associates Degree or medical assisting and/or prior technician experience.
  • Commitment to building strong working relationships with other providers and our healthcare team.
  • The ideal candidate would be motivated, energetic, and willing to learn.
