Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager is a key leadership role responsible for protecting and delivering the Del Taco Brand in a restaurant owned and operated by 61 Tacos Florida Port Saint Lucie LLC. This position requires a strong leader who can grow sales while maximizing efficiency and profitability by leading the Del Taco Way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully staff the store with quality people and ensure they are certified according to the current training process at all times.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees, promoting a service-oriented culture and an environment of fun and teamwork.
  • Evaluate performance and recommend salary increases, as well as disciplinary action, suspension, and/or termination when necessary.
  • Develop and grow team members and future managers, promoting learning, development, and career growth.
  • Deliver the Brand to everyone the Del Taco Way by executing Del Taco standards and using our processes and systems 100% of the time.
  • Maintain the facility and customer areas, as well as all equipment to operational and safety standards.
  • Deliver only quality products to Del Taco standards every time, adhering to cleaning schedules and standards.
  • Ensure employees are in proper uniform and provide a consistent service experience.
  • Ensure POP and signage are present and in the approved location.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the QSR industry or full-service concept.
  • ServSafe Certified.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a great telephone manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and accurate.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and math skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, promoting learning, development, and career growth.

Working Conditions

  • Office and restaurant environment, with extended periods of standing, sitting, typing, and looking at a computer screen.
  • Ability to drive/travel to restaurant locations within the assigned area, including some overnight travel.
  • Valid Driver's License and Proof of Vehicle Insurance required.
