Youth Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities, games, and projects to promote youth development.
- Collaborate with teachers and site managers to provide additional support and feedback to students.
- Supervise students and maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the improvement of our programs and services.
- Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate activities and materials for early childhood, elementary, and middle-school aged students.
- Prior experience in an elementary, middle school, or early childhood program.
The successful candidate will be required to lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs.) and move around the classroom, including stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods. Crisis intervention may require participating in physical restraints (training will be provided if necessary).
Special RequirementsMay be required to attend/participate in special programs or activities outside of the instructional day.
