Behavioral Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Summary:

Family Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide intensive behavioral rehabilitation services to youth aged 12-20 in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and guidance to youth in a residential setting, promoting their emotional and behavioral well-being.
  • Model and teach new skills to facilitate the development of appropriate behaviors, self-expression, and social interaction.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to assess the needs of youth and coordinate services.
  • Utilize non-violent crisis intervention and physical restraint techniques as necessary.
  • Accurately document service logs and client file documents.

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience working with children and/or adolescents.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to persuade others and recognize various points of view.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to clear a background check conducted through ODHS.

Compensation:

$18.17 - $29.20 per hour, with a shift premium of $1 per hour added to base pay for shifts 3pm-11pm.
