Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Compensation Rate: $250K-$350K

About the Position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees the financial operations of Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington (EGNW). The CFO is responsible for Goodwill's strategic integration of financial and systems processes, serving as a thought partner for long-term strategy and day-to-day management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and oversight to ensure the organization's financial health and stability.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintenance of internal control systems.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization's assets and reputation.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, and lead by example to inspire and motivate employees.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including banks, investment advisors, and other external partners.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience managing finance departments, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record of driving financial growth and efficiency, strong leadership and collaboration skills, and expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
