Position Overview

Days of Victory Center for Autism is on the lookout for a dedicated, honest, and detail-oriented ABA Therapist who is passionate about working with children and committed to assisting families in overcoming challenges.

A DAY IN THE ROLE...

We aim to elevate the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) by consistently delivering high-quality services that empower families. As part of our team, you will receive ongoing coaching and mentorship to enhance your skills as a behavior technician. The ideal candidate will be capable of:

  • Building and sustaining a positive therapeutic rapport with each family
  • Delivering individualized 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related conditions
  • Executing tailored treatment plans developed by the BCBA
  • Accepting and applying feedback from the BCBA to ensure program fidelity
  • Employing behavior analytic strategies to diminish maladaptive behaviors
  • Instructing socially acceptable alternative behaviors
  • Gathering data (frequency, latency, duration, etc.) using electronic devices
  • Communicating client progress to the supervising BCBA
  • Upholding client confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Encouraging team collaboration for effective program delivery
  • Maintaining a clean environment to ensure safety

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS...

  • At least 6 months of experience working with children with Autism or related disorders
  • RBT certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
  • Clear state and federal background check
  • High school diploma required; college experience preferred
  • Comfortable assisting with daily living skills of toddlers
  • Physically capable of sitting on the floor, standing, squatting, bending, running, playing, and lifting small children (up to 30 lbs) without accommodation
  • Adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols is essential

*Compensation ranges from $ /hr based on experience and education, with opportunities for pay increases following performance evaluations.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No evening shifts
  • No weekend shifts
