Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Child Behavior Specialist to join our team at Intercept Health. As a Child Behavior Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting and implementing individualized plans for clients with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans based on client targets and goals, with a focus on decreasing unsafe behaviors and increasing communication and social skills.
  • Observe client skills and collect data to assess their skills and develop program goals.
  • Work with children, adolescents, and young adults in our center-based program to promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA experience.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Afternoon availability until 6 P.M. required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Entry-level pay starting at $17 for direct care, increasing based on experience and certification, up to $23 for direct care.
  • Indirect care pay range between $12 and $15 based on experience and certification.
