Job Description Summary:

Provide overnight cross-coverage and admission services for patients in General Internal Medicine from 8 PM to 8 AM in a rotating schedule of 5-7 days on and off.

This schedule encompasses weekends.

Job Description:
As a Nocturnist Clinical Faculty Member, you will deliver in-house cross-coverage and admission services for patients within the General Internal Medicine department. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring medical students and residents in both clinical settings and through structured educational sessions. Your role will involve supervising residents in a triage capacity. The ICU is closed, and full sub-specialty support is available. Multiple positions are open.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or a foreign equivalent degree.
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Eligibility for a Kansas medical license.
  • Eligibility for certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
