Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant Professor to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a key member of our academic faculty, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, training, and education to medical students and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-house cross-coverage and admitting care for General Internal Medicine patients, including weekends.
- Train and educate medical students and residents in patient care settings and formal/informal group education formats.
- Interact with residents in a triage and supervisory role, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with sub-specialty teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- MD or foreign degree equivalent to a MD.
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
- Hold or be eligible for a Kansas medical license.
- Hold or be eligible for American Board of Internal Medicine certification.
