Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant Professor to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a key member of our academic faculty, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, training, and education to medical students and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-house cross-coverage and admitting care for General Internal Medicine patients, including weekends.
  • Train and educate medical students and residents in patient care settings and formal/informal group education formats.
  • Interact with residents in a triage and supervisory role, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with sub-specialty teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • MD or foreign degree equivalent to a MD.
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
  • Hold or be eligible for a Kansas medical license.
  • Hold or be eligible for American Board of Internal Medicine certification.
