Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and committed Tax Compliance Specialist to address our clients' tax-related requirements. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for direct client engagement and participation in diverse tax responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in tax preparation, compliance, and effective client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, encompassing federal, state, and local submissions. You will engage with various sectors including Real Estate, Distribution, Non-Profit, Manufacturing, and Services.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service, addressing tax inquiries, and providing tax planning insights.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and remain informed about updates in tax legislation.
  • Financial Analysis: Examine financial data to uncover potential tax-saving strategies for clients and offer actionable recommendations.
  • Tax Research: Perform tax research as necessary to resolve intricate tax matters and guide clients effectively.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep precise and organized tax records and documentation for clients.
  • Client Education: Inform clients about tax-related issues and assist them in making knowledgeable financial choices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in tax accounting, ideally within a CPA firm or tax advisory capacity.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
