In this position, the International Tax Senior Consultant will provide guidance to clients on intricate U.S. international tax matters, including the management of global effective tax rates, international tax frameworks, and support for complex business transactions.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive public accounting experience with familiarity in international tax principles, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credit computations, and international compliance and reporting.

Experience with tax forms such as 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8938, 8621, 1116, 1118, and FINCEN114.
Understanding of Sec 962 election and High Tax Exception.
Strong tax research capabilities and skills.
Outstanding client service and communication abilities, with a proven track record of building and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Demonstrated leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities, along with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively represent the firm to client management.

Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced, interactive team environment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of experience in international taxation, with a history of leading multiple projects.
Proficiency in CCH ProSystems FX tax, QuickBooks, and/or RIA Checkpoint.
Master's degree in Taxation.
Possession of a CPA license.

WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU WILL

Complete orientation and onboarding processes.
Engage in introductory training sessions.
Begin familiarizing yourself with our tax software and participate in a QuickBooks refresher course.
Start building your internal network by connecting with Supervisors, Managers, and Partners.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU WILL

Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of complex international tax returns for clients across various industries.
Provide recommendations on return preparation to enhance accuracy and identify tax savings opportunities.
Engage clients in tax planning and the calculation of estimated tax obligations.
Conduct research and prepare materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations.
Address inquiries from tax authorities.

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU WILL


Oversee international tax projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, direction, and finalization of tax initiatives, while managing budgets and meeting client expectations.

Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff on client projects.
Review the work of less experienced team members and share knowledge to enhance their technical skills.
Proactively identify and address client concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
