Job Description

As a Payments Partnership Operations Manager at PayPal, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance our payment ecosystem.

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships with key financial institutions and other relevant partners to enhance PayPal's payment network capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies aligned with PayPal's business objectives, driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, serving as the primary point of contact and driving collaboration to achieve mutual business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with partners, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements that align with PayPal's business objectives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for payment partners, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure that all partnership activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards and implement risk mitigation measures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic alliances within payments, or fintech industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and managing partnerships, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of payments issuance, including card issuing and virtual card solutions, and familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
