Position Summary:
The Corporate Administrative Assistant/HR Generalist will operate under the guidance of the Head of Human Resources. This role necessitates effective communication and collaboration with employees throughout the organization, ensuring a professional representation of the company. Responsibilities may vary daily based on organizational demands, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel, schedule meetings, receive packages, and assist clients and visitors.
- Handle email correspondence and respond to digital inquiries.
- Compose and revise letters, reports, and various documents.
- Maintain and update information in databases and spreadsheets.
- Support the upkeep of employee records.
- Serve as the primary contact for the Company's Culture Committee, leading the organization of staff events, holiday celebrations, all-hands meetings, and the annual staff appreciation week.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including room arrangements and catering services.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for document creation and editing.
- Oversee office supplies and equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist in the formulation of processes and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing setting.
- An associate degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Strong background in compliance with the ability to draft effective employee policies.
- Previous administrative experience in an office environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Effective communication skills for conveying information clearly and concisely.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).
- Experience with ADP systems is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish are preferred.
