Head and Neck Surgery Nurse Job Description

At Swedish Health Services, we're dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and improving the health and wellbeing of our community. As a Head and Neck Surgery Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering world-class healthcare with compassion and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and interpret patient assessment data to identify needs and potential problems.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Evaluate patient response to care and make independent and collaborative changes as needed.
  • Document patient progress and interventions.
  • Utilize the nursing process to incorporate teaching into patient care and document learning.
  • Prepare patients for discharge or transfer, documenting the process.
  • Deliver patient care based on pathophysiology and nursing principles, performing technical skills with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers, advocating for patient needs.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Surgery Nursing experience.
