Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze patient data to identify needs and potential problems
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve measurable and achievable outcomes
  • Evaluate patient response to care and make independent and collaborative changes as needed
  • Document patient information and interventions accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize the nursing process to incorporate teaching into patient care and document learning
  • Prepare patients for discharge or transfer, documenting the process
  • Deliver patient care based on pathophysiology and nursing principles, performing technical skills with accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers, advocating for patient needs
  • Document complete and accurate information on all chart forms, reporting to oncoming shifts
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year of Surgery Nursing experience
