Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN - Head and Neck Surgery to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to identify needs and potential problems.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Evaluate patient responses to care and make independent and collaborative changes as needed.
  • Utilize the nursing process to incorporate teaching into patient care and document learning.
  • Prepare patients for discharge or transfer by assessing their needs and developing a plan for their care.
  • Deliver patient care based on pathophysiology and nursing principles, performing technical skills with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers, advocating for patients and utilizing resources effectively.
  • Document complete and accurate information on all appropriate chart forms and report to oncoming shifts in a concise and relevant manner.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Surgery Nursing experience.
