Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient data to identify needs and potential problems.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Evaluate patient responses to care and make adjustments as needed.
- Utilize the nursing process to incorporate teaching into patient care and document learning.
- Prepare patients for discharge or transfer by assessing their readiness and documenting the process.
- Deliver patient care based on pathophysiology and nursing principles, performing technical skills with accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers, advocating for patient needs and utilizing resources effectively.
- Document complete and accurate information on all relevant chart forms and report to oncoming shifts in a concise and relevant manner.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of Surgery Nursing experience.
