Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled OB Sonographer to join our team at Denver Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, working independently with minimal supervision, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of technical imaging procedures, including OB and GYN ultrasound exams, with a focus on producing high-quality images for radiologists to interpret.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to obtain imaging study protocols and verify physician orders.
  • Document patient information, examination results, and other relevant data in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • RDMS certification in OB/GYN Ultrasound.
  • 2+ years of experience in OB and GYN ultrasound, preferably with high-risk (level II) OB ultrasound exams.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology, patient care, and radiology information systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
