Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled OB Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality US imaging studies, selecting specific software parameters, and operating US equipment to produce and record images of the motion, shape, and composition of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality US imaging studies by selecting specific software parameters and operating US equipment to produce and record images.
  • Operate PACS applications, including archiving activities, image auto-routing, and pre-fetching tasks, to ensure efficient image management.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and personal dignity by following appropriate patient care guidelines and preparing patients for ultrasound studies.
  • Verify physician orders and relevant patient history in the medical chart and consult with radiologists to obtain written imaging study protocols.
  • Document all pertinent information on clinical questionnaires and scan relevant clinical information into the PACS.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Echocardiography or related field from an accredited program.
  • RDMS-Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification from ARDMS.
  • Preferred experience performing high-risk OB ultrasound exams and two years' experience performing OB and GYN ultrasound exams.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support certification from AHA.
