Spire Orthopedic Partners is on the lookout for a skilled MRI Technologist to enhance their operations. As a vital part of a developing network of orthopedic facilities, Spire ensures that physicians can concentrate on delivering exceptional patient care by providing robust administrative support. The successful candidate will possess a valid Connecticut X-Ray/MRI Technician license, ARRT certification, and at least two years of MRI experience. Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients effectively for MRI examinations
  • Screen patients for any metal implants or foreign objects
  • Select suitable pulse sequences in accordance with established protocols
  • Assess scanning results and adjust images for physician evaluation
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and monitor cryogen levels
  • Initiate intravenous lines and observe patient responses during procedures
  • Maintain proper hygiene standards in the examination room and ensure patient comfort
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited radiology program
  • Current Connecticut X-Ray/MRI Technician license and ARRT registration
  • At least two years of experience in the role of MRI Technician
  • Experience in orthopedic and/or neurological settings is preferred
  • Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations
