Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operator II-2 to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including palletizers, carton makers, and drop packers, to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any quality defects or safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including production logs and quality control documents.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Oracle/MES or similar systems.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, on a rotating schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience managing people or projects.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
